In this last blog of my series “Products I Will Not Be Repurchasing,” I’m discussing my haircare flops. Just like the other two blogs in this series, remember that these are my personal opinions and different products work differently on different people! Once again, no hate to any of these brands, each one of them has some of my all-time favorite products. Now let’s get into haircare products that I’ve tried recently and will not be repurchasing:

Pureology Color Fanatic Leave-in
Why: I don't dislike this product, but I reach for my other leave-in conditioners much more frequently. I find that it weighs down my hair a little and doesn't leave my hair feeling as soft and silky as I would prefer.

Gisou Honey-Infused Leave-in Conditioner
Why: Similar to my feelings towards the Pureology Leave-in conditioner, it's not that this leave-in is bad, it's that other products outshine it. I definitely gravitate towards my leave-ins from Bumble & Bumble, Olaplex, and Kristen Ess much more. Additionally, if you're looking to try a product from Gisou, I highly recommend the honey-infused hair oil instead.

Briogeo Scalp Revival Serum
Why: I often struggle with a really dry scalp. I purchased the Briogeo Scalp Revival Serum to help alleviate my dry and flaky scalp, but unfortunately, I didn't notice any results. I have found other products, such as the Head & Shoulders Dry Scalp Shampoo, that truly soothe my scalp.

Pureology Strength Cure Shampoo & Conditioner
Why: Honestly, this is a good shampoo and conditioner. However, the Hydrate Sheer line from Pureology completely outshines it. I tried the Hydrate Sheer line before I tried the Strength Cure products, and my hair results from the Strength Cure line could not compare to my hair after using the Hydrate Sheer line. Therefore, I will definitely be repurchasing the Hydrate Sheer from Pureology instead.
