Osea Malibu products have been all over my Instagram feed, and probably yours too. While the packaging looks beautiful, the price tag is intimidating. The Osea Undaria Algae Body Oil sells for $52 and the Osea Undaria Body Polish sells for $48. I decided to splurge and do the research so you don’t have to. I bought both these products for a total of $100, so it better be worth the money. Here are my unfiltered thoughts:

Osea Undaria Algae Body Oil
Unfortunately, my first issue with this product was the packaging. I found the pump hard to use and it often got stuck. This product also claims to tone and sculpt your skin, which I didn’t experience. On the bright side, I enjoyed the scent of this product and how it moisturized my skin. However, I realized I’m not a huge fan of body oils. I think there’s something uncomfortable about feeling oily all over. Therefore, I don’t think this product is worth the price!

Osea Undaria Body Polish
Compared to the body oil, I preferred this product. My favorite part was certainly the scent. It’s a gentle exfoliation, making it perfect for regular use. My skin felt smooth, soft, and hydrated after using it. However, the product didn’t last long enough for the price to be entirely worth it. Overall, if I chose one of these products, I would choose this one.
All that being said, I don’t think that these Osea Malibu products are worth the splurge. So far, I have yet to find expensive body care products that out-perform their drugstore alternatives.
