For the last week, I have been traveling and living out of my suitcase. Therefore, I needed to find travel sizes of shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner. I also thought that would be the perfect opportunity to try a new line of hair products. While browsing Sephora, I settled on buying the Amika Signature Saviors trial set. The set includes the Amika Normcore Signature shampoo, the Amika Normcore Signature conditioner, the Wizard detangling primer, and the Soulfood nourishing mask. Here are my thoughts:

On the bright side, the price of the trial set gives you a lot of bang for your buck, as it only costs $30 and the products do last for a good amount of time. I also ADORED the smell of these products. The sweet smell left my hair smelling great during and after my shower. The detangling primer also did a great job of detangling my otherwise extremely knotty hair.

However, I will not be repurchasing the full-size versions of these products. I will say, I never got the chance to try to hair mask. That being said, I noticed that the shampoo, conditioner, and primer left a greasy film on my hair, and my hair never felt entirely clean after using these products. I also never noticed my hair feeling exceptionally soft or hydrating. Rather, my hair tended to feel drier and frizzier than after I use my other hair products. Therefore, I didn’t hate these products, but I wasn’t in love with them either. Let me know if I should try any more products from Amika.
